BEHIND THE SCENES VISIT FOR TOP CADETS!
Award-winning cadets from 346 (Tynemouth) Squadron, Durham Northumberland Wing have enjoyed an exciting and event filled day at RAF Boulmer, taking part in laser shooting exercises and tactical scenarios in the School of Aerospace Battle Management.
They also got a rare glimpse inside the Control and Reporting Centre which monitors, detects and identifies all aircraft in and around UK air space.
The visit was arranged by former 346 cadet, Wing Commander Al Jackson, who is now OC of the School of Aerospace Battle Management, and presented cadets with their prizes at last December’s annual Sabena Awards.
Thanks to Wg Cmmdr Jackson for inviting us, and to his team who looked after everyone so well.
