WING STAFF OFFICER RETIRES FROM CUMBRIA AND LANCS WING AFTER 30 YEARS.
On Sunday 1 September 2019 Cumbria and Lancashire Wing will say a huge thank you and farewell to Squadron Leader Andy Browell as he retires from the Organisation after 30 years of dedicated service. Squadron Leader Browell has been part of the Air Cadets since 1982 and during this time he has been the Cumbria & Lancashire Wing Adventure Training Officer, Commanding Officer of 177 (Blackpool Airport) Squadron, 2454 (North Blackpool) Squadron, 1301 (Fleetwood) Squadron and 2486 (Lytham St Anne’s) Squadron as well as Sector Commander for Sector 4. He has contributed thousands of hours to many activities over the years, as well as providing guidance to countless Cadets from the Fylde and across the Wing. We thank Squadron Leader Browell for his contribution to Cumbria and Lancashire Wing and to the Royal Air Force Air Cadets and wish him happiness in his retirement from the organisation.
